actually twilight wasnt scheduled to come out this winter, when harry potter postponed that left an open spot, so twilight took its spot.

Okay so you corrected the Deathly Hallows instead of Deadly Hallows, which you are so very right...May I also correct one of your tiny mistakes. It is not anyways ..it is anyway. A lot of people make that mistake, which doesn't make it right. So Anyway, I felt it only fair to correct the corrector.

one of the other reasons why they postponed the date of the movie is that Twilight was coming out too close to it so people might want to go and see Twilight instead of Harry Potter. Basically they wanted to bring in enough money and not have it "stolen" by Twilight.

It wasn't the director who decided to postpone the movie it was warner brothers learn how to read news posts, and it's DEATHLY HALLOWS not DEADLY HOLLOWS. The point of making these movies is because the book became popular so they wanted to bring it to life on the big screen sooooooooo in order to do that they have to make a movie out of all the books... and Deathly Hallows was so long they had to split it into two parts otherwise they would have broken a recorded even surpassing Gone with the Wind... Anyways I was mad at first that they postpone the movie but I'm over it I'm killing my time be rereading the books all over again and several other series!

OMG!!! I was checking the coming soon movies and this was supposed to come out on my bro's b-day (he hates harry potter btw). Then i saw no harry potter on it so i figured i check the movie page. I'm so mad! I even saw a trailer that specifically said 11/21/08 and what do they do the postpone the movie probably so the can show stupid deathly or deadly hollows in like 2010 and 2011! Im really really mad at the director for postponing! DANG IT YOU STUPID BOOK OF DEADLY HOLLOWS!!!!!!!!

I am so mad that the new movie date was changed. They should of made the movie in december instead of changing the date all the way to JULY! But it stinks because I already know what will happen. i luv J.K. rowlings books:)<3

Everyone is pissed that the movie is getting postponed, including myself. They aren't doing this to get more people to whatch the movie or fix some slip ups. They could throw together crap and millions of people would end up seeing it. Give them some slack. There just trying to space it out so the wait isn't too long for the 7th movies. Every body should cheer up, there making two of those!

I am an older fan of Harry's, and was looking forward to spending my 66th birthday at this movie. Well I guess I will have to wait until July 17th. That is a bummer.

IM A HUGE FAN OF THE BOOKS AND THE MOVIES! THE BOOKS ARE MUCH BETTER ,BUT THE MOVIES BRING THE STORY TO LIFE ON FILM. THE LAST BOOK IS MY FAVORITE IVE READ IT SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY I HOPE THE ARE TRUE TO THE BOOK IN THE LAST MOVIE ! THE FANS DESERVE IT!
